Can i keep hens in a rabbit hutch?

Hi I dont think it will be an issue keeping chickens in a hutch as long as it is big enough, safe enough and well ventilated. A rule of thumb is 1 sqft per bird in a coop and 4 sqft in a run. Ideally a coop would be better but they can be quite expensive. If you are any good at DIY building a coop is another option.
