Foot tattoo - pain, aftercare and healing time?

I am getting a foot tattoo - 3 large stars and 6 smaller ones, and some little dots around it. I wanted to know how bad is the pain, what is the best way to look after it (ointments etc) and how long will it take to heal? I can wear dolly shoes for the whole healing time :) I have my nose, belly on and conch pierced too, I am aware it's going to be a lot more painful! It's going to be my first tattoo and I'm a 17 year old female. Thanks :)
