B comes back to speakers?

okay i was puting in a new amp and the power n ground touched(not connected to amp). i replaced the 40 fuse and the power on the amp turns on. but there is no sound from subs. i hear more b in my speakers now. plus the b knob dosent work. could it be the rca cables because we kinda had to pull on them to connect the new amp.
