Do i have to pay extra?

okk so i went to a vans store today and it was at the outlets...and then i bought a piar of shoes but i realize now that it is too big...so there is a vans store near my house(not an outlet)....and i was wondering if they will let me trade the shoes for a smaller pair?? and do i have to pay the difference if the shoes at the van store is more expensive than the one at the outlet????????? thanks
